Roll-Off Dumpster Sizes - Jacksonville FL

Roll-off dumpster sizes from Double D's Dumpsters in Jacksonville, FL: 10, 15, 20, and 30 yard, all flat-rate, all with 14 days of rental and disposal included. The right size depends on three things: the volume of debris coming off the project, the weight of that debris, and the access at the drop location.

10 yard - $350

The 10 yard is roughly 10 feet long, 7 feet wide, and 4 feet tall. It is the smallest container we deliver and the right pick for weight-heavy loads (concrete, dirt, brick, tile, asphalt shingles) where a bigger box would hit the tonnage cap before it filled up. Common 10-yard jobs: single-room renovations, small bath remodels, garage and attic cleanouts, landscape and yard debris hauls, and small-roof shingle tear-offs. The 10-yard fits on most standard residential driveways and is the right call when overhead clearance, neighborhood traffic, or HOA placement rules limit how big a box you can stage. See the 10 yard page for full dimensions and use cases.

15 yard - $450

The 15 yard is roughly 15 feet long, 7 feet 5 inches wide, and 4 feet tall. It sits between the 10 and the 20 and is the most-rented mid-size container in our Jacksonville fleet. Common 15-yard jobs: kitchen and bath gut-and-replace, flooring tear-outs, full-room renovations, deck and fence demo, mid-size roofing tear-offs, and tenant-turnover cleanouts for property managers. The low side wall makes it easy to walk debris in over the side instead of throwing it, which is why many renovation crews prefer the 15 over the taller 20 even when the 20 would fit. See the 15 yard page for details.

20 yard - $550

The 20 yard is roughly 16 feet long, 7 feet 5 inches wide, and 5 feet tall. It is the highest-volume size in our fleet and the default for active construction sites, whole-home renovations, and commercial buildouts. Typical 20-yard jobs: whole-house renovations, large roofing tear-offs, multi-room flooring and drywall replacement, mid-size demolition debris, commercial tenant-improvement work, and ongoing C&D for general contractors running multi-trade jobs. It still fits on most residential driveways and standard commercial parking spots. See the 20 yard page for full specs.

30 yard - $650

The 30 yard is roughly 20 feet long, 7 feet 5 inches wide, and 6 feet tall. It is our largest container, built for heavy civil, structural demolition, and high-volume commercial debris loads. Typical 30-yard jobs: structural and interior demolition, full-home tear-outs, large roofing tear-offs on multi-family or commercial buildings, big-box retail and warehouse cleanouts, and post-storm structural debris. The 30 is not the right pick for concrete, dirt, brick, or tile loads (those hit the tonnage cap before they fill the volume). It needs a longer staging area and works best on commercial sites or larger residential lots. See the 30 yard page for placement notes.

How to choose

If the debris is heavy and concentrated (concrete, brick, tile, dirt), go smaller and plan a swap. If the debris is bulky but light (drywall, framing scraps, household cleanout, roofing felt), go bigger and avoid the swap. When in doubt, call (904) 395-CANS and describe the project. We help size containers every day and we would rather over-spec a swap than under-spec a single drop. Compare against national haulers on the pricing comparison page or book online.
